Daily Picks Recap - August 6th

By Connor Stone

CIN (-1.5, +125, 1.05u)

Thanks again to the slugging of Elly De La Crus, and new comer Ty France, the Reds shelled the Marlins winning 8-2 securing our run line pick.

CLE (-115, 0.45u)

CLE (-1.5, +180, 1.2u)

Rain was the name of the game today, shelling Progressive Field leading to a postponed game and bet voided.

SF (-118, 1.05u)

CJ Abrams and WSH top prospect James Woods slug a pair of home runs, leading the charge in the 11-5 route of the Giants, spoiling our money-line pick.

BAL (-152, 1.2u)

A three run shot by Alejandro Kirk and a defensive masterclass from Dalton Varsho propelled the Jays to a 5-2 win over the Oriels spoiling another pick.

MIL (+115, 1.8u)

MIL (+1.5, -190, 1.35u)

The Brewers blew the Braves out of the water with a 10-0 victory. Slugging from Willy Adames and William Contrares lead the charge, securing our run-line and money-line pick.

TB (+130, 0.75u)

Yet again in the year of disappointment for the Rays, they go down 4-3 to the Cardinals thanks to a 2-run dinger from Tommy Pham.

CHC (+1.5, -190, 1.2u)

A bomb in the 1st from Issac Padres put the Cubs out in front early, Royce Lewis answered with a dinger of his own, but it was not enough. Pete Crow-Armstrongs high flying offense and a dominant start from Imanaga secured the run-line for the Cubs.

TEX (+1.5, -160, 6u)

HOU (-124, 1.05u)

Framber Valdez was one out away from a no-hitter against the Rangers until Corey Seager hit a second home run in as many nights. These late game heroics was not enough however as the Rangers would fall 4-2, loosing out on our run-line pick but securing our money-line for Houston.

BOS (+114, 1u)

Thanks to a Masataka Yoshida bomb and some nifty base running from Dominic Smith, yes Dominic Smith, the Red Sox secured a 6-5 vicotry against the Royals and our money-line pick.

NYM (-148, 3.45u)

Errors and sloppy play was the downfall of the mets today and the magic of Grimmace was not enough to save them this time. The Mets fall 3-6 to the Rockies, missing out on our money-line pick.
